Workplace stress is one of the leading causes of disengagement, absenteeism and team burnout. The Workplace Stress Management & Communication Training equips delegates with practical, lasting skills to manage negative stress, harness positive stress and communicate clearly under pressure, at every level of the organisation.
Delivered as a two-day group course, the program blends behavioural insight, vocal and breathing techniques, time and conflict management, and personal wellbeing strategies into one cohesive corporate intervention.
This program is built on our proprietary "10 Commandments of Stress Management" methodology, refined by The Voice Clinic over more than three decades of voice, communication and behavioural training.
The program is designed for teams and individuals operating in high-pressure, high-demand environments where stress, communication breakdowns and burnout are affecting performance and wellbeing. It suits delegates across every level of an organisation.
Over two structured days, delegates work through a comprehensive curriculum that addresses the behavioural, vocal, emotional and lifestyle dimensions of workplace stress. Each module builds practical skills delegates can apply immediately.
Delegates learn to recognise the difference between positive and negative stress, identify personal stress triggers, and understand how stress shows up in the body, mind and voice. Awareness is the first step toward control.
Delegates explore how reactive habits drive stress responses, and learn to replace them with proactive choices that protect performance and relationships under pressure.
A healthy self image is a key buffer against workplace stress. This module strengthens delegates' sense of self worth, capability and resilience so they engage with challenges from a position of confidence rather than fear.
Delegates learn to read conflict early, de-escalate tense conversations, and resolve disagreements through assertive, respectful communication. The result is fewer flare-ups and faster resolutions.
Poor time management is a major stress amplifier. Delegates build practical systems for prioritising work, setting realistic goals, and protecting focus, so the day feels manageable rather than overwhelming.
Drawing on The Voice Clinic's core expertise, this module teaches breathing and vocal techniques that lower the stress response in real time, support clear communication, and aid recovery between high-pressure moments.
Sustainable stress management depends on what happens outside the office too. Delegates examine sleep, nutrition, movement and recovery habits, and build a personal plan that supports long-term wellbeing.
The final module brings everything together, applying the tools to real workplace scenarios, team dynamics and individual roles, so delegates leave with a clear action plan for their own context.
